I spent many moons thinking about the best ways to cover this franchise, and since I’ve played almost every single one to completion (the PSP ones I missed out on because honestly who owned that thing), I figured this was the best way. To coincide with Rift Apart’s release, and to celebrate that it’s a return to form for the series, I wanted to rank the guns by which sounded the coolest. Without looking at the visuals of each weapon, remembering how powerful they were, or anything else. Just the name, in a vacuum; which were the coolest? Is the 12-year-old in me the one deciding these rankings? Yes. Do I care? No.
